The soul is the matrix of our consciousness and experiences. It includes everything - crystallizations, formations, contractions, essence, essential qualities, as well as our personality. All kinds of images can be imprinted in our soul. In our work we seek to cleanse the soul of impurities and to free it from identifications that limit it so that it can be fully open to manifest its True Nature.

In this seminar we will look at the nine facets of the soul that are explained by the map called the Enneagram and see how these objective dimensions of reality become distorted - giving rise to nine distinct fixations of personality (or ego types). We will see how, as a result of homophobic attitudes and beliefs in society, particular imprints and identifications develop in the soul that limit all people, and in particular people who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender.
We will examine how, depending on their personality type, individuals both internalize homophobic messages and attempt to cope with the impact of these destructive messages in their own lives. By looking at what lies beyond the experience of the personality, we will attempt to uncover our potential past the limiting identifications of both ego and homophobia, and get a sense of how our souls can develop free of these influences.
The work will consist of lectures, meditations, group exercises, and individual exercises derived from Western psychodynamic techniques and Eastern spiritual teachings and practices.
