Description:
This workshop for students of all levels (including professional actors) provides an overview of method acting craft combined with techniques designed to free up the actor´s instrument.
Students come to understand the foundations of the method. They learn to remove blocks to their creativity by dealing with tension and fear head-on. They expand their instrument as they are challenged and supported to create exciting emotional life. All of this is achieved by means of both group and personalized exercises, and thorough explanations of concepts.
The skills learned may be put to use with selected material, allowing students to understand and practice the concrete application of the method to text.
